The Egyptian National Development Corporation (NEDA) and the Youth Training Center of Maadi, sponsored by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, held an extensive evening meeting to discuss the situation of the labor market in post-revolution Egypt and to discuss the challenges faced by Egyptian youth in seeking to obtain Job opportunities, and obstacles to institutions looking for cadres and human resources. The event, the first of its kind after the revolution, was attended by a large number of representatives of private sector companies, businessmen, NGOs and personalities interested in human development and fighting unemployment.The objective of the meeting, which was held under the slogan of youth and work, is to create opportunities and meet the challenges, to bridge the dialogue between representatives of companies and businessmen on the one hand, and Egyptian youth looking for job opportunities on the other, to identify the current and future needs of the labor market And servants. The meeting reviewed the training and rehabilitation initiatives carried out by the Egyptian National Development Corporation and the Maadi Youth Training Center through their projects funded by the Sawiris Foundation to support the abilities and skills of a group of Egyptian youth. The meeting sought employment opportunities for groups that were already trained, Of existing and new companies by providing opportunities for practical training and employment.
